DIY Black & White Damask Shower Invites…
By . Filed in Stationery, Weddings |…A Little Look At What I’ve Been Up To This Weekend!
I’ve been a busy and crafty little bee! I’m excited to show you what I’ve accomplished (over several cups of coffee, of course!).
I am helping host a wedding shower coming up and decided to make the shower invites myself. What do you think? I took out some of the info for privacy reasons, but I was very pleased with the actual invites.

It’s an invite I designed printed on regular white printing paper, cut out and placed on top of black cardstock paper which I also cut to size. I used a hole puncher at the top, then took a scrapbooking flower and attached it with a rhinestone tack thingy (forgive my scrapbooking terminology).
The paper isn’t glued together, it’s just being held with a tack, so it may look crooked but really it’s not.
Now all I have to do is purchase some nice envelopes, and POOF, they’re out the door. Yay! I can’t wait to show you pictures of the shower itself once it’s over with. We’re sticking with a black and white theme, with touches of red. I’m so excited!

Oh those are adorable! Very pretty! I did the same thing with a “tack thingy” on my college graduation announcments. I should try and find a copy and put that on my blog. You have inspired me to go look!

The red really makes it. Is that a scrapbooking flower?

Yes I’m a dork!! I’ve just read it’s a scrapbooking flower. How did you do the white print on black?
