The funniest thing that happened at my wedding was when my husband was dancing with my mother and picked her up and accidently dropped her on a very hard floor from the air!! Her hip still hurts her from today! Lets just say everyone was feeling the open bar and having an amazing time!!!

I remember walnuts falling from the trees during my wedding and hitting people in the head.

  7. Comment by FaithJ:

The best piece of advice I got for my wedding was to practice, practice, practice our 1st dance. We didn’t want to just stand there, swaying back and forth. I also made sure I practiced the Father-Daughter dance. It helped everything go smoothly!

  8. Comment by Ellen Lopes:

I always tell anyone getting married to not hurt others feelings as well as possible but to never forget it is YOUR wedding and you must make yourself and your intended happy and comfortable. You can never please everyone, never. So you know the old saying, please yourself :)

  9. Comment by Jennifer Simonelli:

Best piece of wedding advice I received was to make sure I had an exit plan for the end of the evening!

  10. Comment by Jenny:

Not to feel constrained by what other people think a wedding should be!

  11. Comment by Laura Deeds:

Sitting on the floor in the hotel hallway, eating pizza and plucking out my 500 bobby pins from my head!!!

  12. Comment by Jill:

My best piece of wedding advice is to make sure that you take some time to sit back with your husband and watch everything around you taking place. Take it all in, because before you know it the day is over!

  13. Comment by Kate:

My funniest wedding memory was having one of my bridesmaids get pooped on by a bird on the patio outside of the reception. :)

  14. Comment by Liz M.:

I went to one wedding at which the bride and groom got confused in the middle of the ceremony and started their recessional–it was during a pause in the ceremony, so no one really knew they had made a mistake until they realized and had to walk back to the altar! They were a little embarrassed, but mostly amused, and it was so cute!
