A Stylish Paper Plate Affair…

May 13, 2010

…With Earth-Friendly Disposable Tableware By Wasara!

If you asked me what kind of china we chose for our wedding registry, I would have smiled and proudly told you, “Chinet”! A fan of the paper plate, I’ve always felt parties should be enjoyed, not spent doing dishes. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll be the first to soak my hands at a family party – my mother raised me well. She also raised me to not be wasteful, which is why I love this eco-friendly disposable collection by WASARA

Stylish, sturdy and created to be oil- and water-resistant, these beautifully textured pieces are suitable for serving hot or cold food and beverages and also work well displaying food. Even better, this eco-friendly tableware is made from tree-free materials – which makes it biodegradable and compostable! Check out all the different pieces…perfect for styling any tablescape

Invite A Cupcake Truck To Your Chicago Wedding!

May 12, 2010

…I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For Ice Cream Cupcakes?

Do you remember when you were little, how excited you’d get when the ice cream truck would roll down your street? If you were anything like me, you’d look out the window and run through the house, digging for change, screaming to your family, “Ice-cream truck! Ice-cream truck!” as if it were the best thing on Earth.

Well, Chicago, no longer do we need to sigh with nostalgia. Flirty Cupcakes is bringing excitement back to our neighborhoods, with their fabulous new cupcake truck!

That’s even better than an ice-cream truck, wouldn’t you agree? This uber-adorable cupcake van just launched it’s wheels in Chicago on May 10th! Traveling it’s way through the city streets, the Flirty Cupcakes van has been bringing smiles to curb-side cupcake lovers…keeping them updated by posting their daily routes on Twitter and Facebook. But it doesn’t stop there…

Brides, pay attention. This is seriously way cool! According to their website, “Flirty Cupcakes will gladly squeal its tires at any party, social event or meeting. The truck is available to rent by the hour for parties. The cupcakes can also be dropped off curbside for meetings or parties.”

Um, hello?! What wedding guests or bridal party wouldn’t LOVE to indulge in some curbside cupcakes? Perhaps you could call the Flirty Cupcakes van over as a sneaky treat for your bridesmaids while you’re all getting ready for the big day. Or, have them stop by between the ceremony and reception, while your guests are waiting as you take your pictures! It’s perfect.

Go on. Let them eat cake. For more information or to contact Flirty Cupcakes for your wedding or event, click HERE. Also, be sure to stop by their Twitter or Facebook page to show ‘em some love. Who knows, maybe they’ll pop up in a town near you!
