Chalk It Up To Romance…

October 29, 2010

…And Play Like Kids!

Chalk. Now why didn’t we think about this before? Duh ~ what a great idea! Create your save-the-dates, invitations or thank you notes with some good ol’ fashioned driveway fun…

Once you’re done with the chalk, invite a friend over and have ‘em help you out by taking pictures of the two of you playing around like goofballs. Your guests will get a kick out of it and so will you, I bet!

Don’t let your fun with chalk end there…use chalk to decorate your reception, create a cool photobooth and to later decorate your newlywed kitchen. Happy coloring!

Photo Curtain Call…

September 6, 2010

…Showered With Smiles!

I’ve always loved the idea of using creatively designed shower curtains as photo backdrops for weddings. Think about it! You could probably easily hang them in a doorway with an adjustable shower rod or on curtain rod in front of a window. Check out these unique designs from Kontextur.com

Fun, right? You could even customize your own DIY shower curtain to coordinate with your wedding colors! Just pick up some cool embellishments from your local craft store and super-glue (or sew, if you’re cool like that) the suckers onto a liner. Wa-la! Creative and affordable.

Best part? After the wedding you can keep your backdrop hanging in the most lovely way, in your newlywed bathroom.
